Is this light and camera completley off-grid?
Yes. There is no utility interconnection whatsoever. This light is designed for easy installation and flexibility in placement. Locations which are remote or mobile will find this unit particularly valuable.
Does the light need to be connected to wi-fi?
No. Inluded within each unit is a data plan independently transmitting the recorded high-quality data into the cloud, independently from a wi-fi service. Monitoring and access to the IO-EYE can be done remotely from an application.
